Bangor WorldwidePromoting World Mission

Bangor Worldwide Missionary Convention is an annual, 9 day Missions Conference, held towards the end of August in Bangor, Northern Ireland. Founded in 1937, it has continued without a break ever since.

With the sole purpose of promoting world mission, Tabiti Anyabwile describes it as “Unique” and as far as is known, there is no other Convention quite like it in the United Kingdom.

Open to all with no charge, there is a full programme throughout the day, commencing with morning prayer meetings and Bible teaching, followed by afternoon seminars and closing with the main evening meeting. With children’s and youth events and the Global Village Exhibition, it is truly an event to encourage and support all in their walk with God.
